Hell's Thrash Horsemen
Hell's Thrash Horsemen
The band was formed back in 2007 by guitarist Nick Komshukov. The original lineup featured Nick Komshukov (guitar/vocals), Andy Kozhekin (guitar), Yegor Porotikov (bass guitar) and Andy Azarov (drums). Vocalist Alexander Ivanov joined the band in December 2007, and in this lineup the band started to conduct rehearsals, under the name of Hell's Thrash Horsemen. During the next few months the band prepared their first live set, which was consisted from the following songs: Beginning Of War, Prologue To Slaughterhouse, Hell's Thrash Horsemen, Serial Man, and a cover on the Testament's The Preacher.
The band's debut took place in March 2008 in Smolensk city, followed by several gigs. A bit later, in May 2009, the band made a decision to part with their bass guitarist Yegor Porotikov, who was replaced by Gleb Mikhalchenkov. In that new lineup, the band had played a few gigs, and finally in September 2008 proceeded to recording their debut album, "...Till Violence", which included such tracks as ...Till Violence (intro), Beginning Of War, Prologue To Slaughterhouse, Hell’s Thrash Horsemen, Serial Man, My Feelings To The Past , and a cover on the Testament's The Preacher.
After that, guitarist Andy Kozhekin and drummer Andy Azarov left the band for personal reasons. Fedor Masuev has been signed in as a new drummer, and the bandmembers decided to stay in a quartet. The first album was released on 19 March 2009 under Always At Records label. A series of gigs was done then in Smolensk and some other Russian cities, which were introducing a new live set, consisted of both tracks from album and brand new songs never played before. Since December 2009, the band began working on the new songs recorded for the full-size studio album "Going Sane". This album was released on 06 June 2010, followed by a tour in some few Russian cities.
In August 2010, bassist Gleb Mikhalchenkov left the band, and was replaced by Konstantin Rodin. In this current lineup, Hell's Thrash Horsemen are going to start their September's live tour! There was a series of gigs throughout the fall / winter season of 2010 / 2011. During one of these gigs, HTH played warm-up for German band Contradiction. End 2010 – beginning of 2011 was marked by reissuing of the band's debut album "...Till Violence" on the Brazilian label Holocaust Prod. That album's been produced as a split together with the Brazilian thrash band, Rattle, and was named Pain Is Inevitable.
In spring 2011, the band received an offer from the Malaysian label Metal Zone Distro to record a cover version of the Malaysian band Silent Death. This offer has been gladly accepted, and right off in May a cover version of Morbid Massacre has been already done. The entire tribute compilation will be available at the underground market in 2012, under Metal Zone Distro.
Meanwhile, the band has been staging gigs all the time, finally appeared on stage in late August at one of the major international annual music event, Metal Crowd Fest, that traditionally takes place in Rechitsa, Belarus, staging together with Battlelore and Catamenia. In fall 2011, the band began working on a 4-song demo record at a studio, which will be included in the band's 3rd album, not forgetting about the live gigs in the meantime...
There was a joint gig played together with Necronomicon from Germany in November 2011. Later on, in February 2012, the band set off to their first mini tour in Italy. Another bass guitar player substitute happened in March 2012 when Konstantin Rodin was replaced with Stanislav Salnikov. There was a pleasant event took place practically at the same time - the new "Demo - 2012" EP came out as actually a predecessor of the 3rd band album, consisted of both demo tracks and brand new song.
